The sudden closing of a clothing factory in El Salvador put its workers out of employment to face financial difficulties. After pressuring the manufacturers, the retailer GAP, and negotiating with the laborer’s union, the factory reopened and the workers became the new owners of the factory. Behind this success story is a professor from Taiwan.
